Enchanted Kingdom

Jhune suggested celebrating our 7th anniversary at the Enchanted Kingdom.The original plan is to celebrate it on the exact day of our anniversary which is October 11 (Friday), but because of Santi we postponed it on October 15. 

At LRT Buendia, we took a bus going to Sta Rosa and told the driver to drop us at Waltermart Balibago. Fare is 61 pesos each. 

We arrived in Waltermart Balibago at 11:30 am and decided to eat first at Tropical Hut because according to some blogs, food at EK was really pricey. Then, we bought bonamine and biogesic at Watsons. (prevention is always better than cure.. haha!) 

Then, we headed to the Enchanted Kingdom by tricycle for only 36 pesos. We arrived just in time, the park will open at 12 noon. Btw, we already have our "ride all you can ticket" which I bought from ensogo that costs 435 pesos each instead of 600.  

Can you see how the weather cooperated with us..? It's gonna be a perfect date ever.. ♥♥♥ 

At the right side of the entrance, there is a locker station where you can deposit your bag for just 75 pesos. Be sure to bring one valid ID or else you'll pay 200 pesos. 

We wanted to relax first and prepare ourselves for an extreme adventure because we made a promise to experience all those deathifying "buwis buhay" rides. (ooh ohh... do promises are meant to be broken? find it out.. )

@ Rialto

We did enjoy the 5-minute 3D experience at Rialto. We also tried the 4D Discovery Theater and paid 50 pesos each.  

This horror house is the main reason why we're here, why Jhune wanted to celebrate our anniversary here. It's because he wanted to scare me and try if his not-so-secret plan will work on me. I'm a self-confessed horror movie addict but I get scared easily because of my vivid imagination. It is called as SRR:X (Shake, Rattle and Roll: The Experience) and you have to pay 50 pesos. 

Disc O Magic

This is the first intense ride we tried, the Disc O Magic. It's really scary up there but we had lots of fun. We screamed, laughed, and cried like it is our last day in the world. I would love to try this again next time. 


Then we tried the flying fiesta, grand carousel and up, up and away. 

Next up, is the Ekstreme Drop Tower. According to the staff, the way up is 1 minute and it will drop you off for just 3 seconds. I wanted to backed out but before I made up my mind, I run out of time. After the drop, I think I left my soul up there. Jhune and I were trying to prepare ourselves for the drop by saying "ayan na" while taking a deep breath. But before we knew it, ahhhhhhhh... we're already dropping. I can't scream even if I wanted to. I don't know what convinced me to try this but one thing's for sure, I will never ever try this again., never.

To warm us up, we tried the Roller Skater. We picked the front seat because we believe we're braver now after the extreme drop.  The ride is not challenging as it seems but we had so much fun. We're both laughing during the entire 10 seconds ride. 

Next intense ride is the Anchor's Away. We seated at the second to the last row, as if we have a choice because we're the last to board. My legs are trembling after I got off. 

Ohh yes, we try this one right after Anchor's Away. I thought I'll pass out while riding the space shuttle especially when it is doing the reverse motion. Still, I enjoyed this "buwis buhay" roller coaster experience. I might try this again.

We ate first before we headed to Rio Grande Rapids which has the longest queue ever. We've waited for almost 20 minutes before we got the ride. But I must say, it's worth the wait. 

Then, we went straight to Jungle Log Jam since we were already wet and dripping.  This ride really scared the hell out of me. My heart is beating too fast that I can't even understand what Jhune is saying. (I think he bullied me up there while I was concentrating???.. bad daddy, bad!!!) 

Rialto @ night

It's getting dark already and it makes us realize that the park will be closing soon. It's 6:30 pm and we only have 30 minutes left to roam around and enjoy the place. Supposedly, our finale is the Wheel of Fate but the queue is so long and we decided not to stick to the plan. Instead, we just bought something to feed our hungry stomach and wander around while reminiscing our memorable EK experience.

To sum it all, we did keep our promise. There are some doubts and second thoughts if we can do it, but we did.. Yes, we did!! We are each other's strength, maybe that's the key. The key to a long-lasting relationship. Happy Anniversary to both of us! ♥♥♥
